I feel better about it. It also makes me realize how long its been since I did a Carbomb, I need to get on that. We had Irish Car Bombs on Saturday during Bar Golf. In fact, I had two. Jon said he'd give -10 points to anyone who could chug theirs faster than he could...all of the girls (Karina, Anita, Anita's friend) beat him...Michael and I lost. Speaking of bar golf (go go thread derail!)...my favorite moment had to be the elderly couple at the Madhatter. The woman was clearly irate that 50+ loud, obnoxious youngsters had just descended upon her and her husband calmly watching Jeopardy at the bar. She kept leaning over to him and swearing about the intrusion. Meanwhile, her husband has this huge grin on his face and said to his wife, "Why, I think they're playing bar golf!" with a look in his eye that suggested he wanted to be young again, playing bar golf unincumberred by the wench that had since become his wife. Classic.

i'd never had a car bomb before - i usually hate chugging beer - the lites are impossible for me - but hand me a stout and it goes down so smooth. yum! and hooray to karina, sonja, and me for beating all the boys! heh - the wench eh? and vinny dear - we all had two - though since i started out so dehydrated and hungover that half of my first yuengling made me a little tipsy - its amazing how much i ended up drinking on my short stint on the golf circuit.

oooh low blow Leanne. It was close, but the Outsiders kept the heat off us by losing. Maybe we can get Anwilli to bake this fabled cake. I'm awful, I know....but to make up for this heinous offense - if I have time - I'll make the fabled cake/cupcakes/whatever..... Patrick's work is killing him and I have the extra bottles of Guinness sitting in my fridge that I'm not going to drink. Might want to beg Anwilli to bake one just in case though........ might not be back in town in time and my baking ADD might kick in - resulting in an extra crispy/dark guinness cake). Sorry, kiddies... I'm not around for playoffs. Boo! I shall be in New Orleans, though, drinking a grenade and hurricane for all of you!

carbombs are the shite. Also enjoyable for non-chuggings are black & tans and half & halfs. Pretty much anything with guinness.
I am also a huge stout/porter fan, but not as much so with the ones that have more of a coffee taste to them

Took the words right out of my mouth, Pete!! That's right, 5 years of French and I had to look it up to make sure I didn't misspell it.
