I totally agree here. In the game that I reffed last week, just so EVERYONE knew how I'd call balls and strikes (as well as to give me a marker), I just drew/kicked in/scratched big lines it the straw / grass on both sides of the plate. TLP said it was very helpful!!! PS - What is a far commute to/from work? Mine is Arlington VA to Rockville MD, about 20 miles and 33 minutes (probably w/o traffic and going the speed limit) according to Google Maps. If I metro'd, it'd be a 1 hour metro ride - Ballston to Twinbrook (

NW DC to Sterling, 28 or so miles. 45 minutes in the morning, and hour plus at night. There is no metro out to here ;-(

Mine isn't as bad... but when you say Reston, it just sounds far...
13+ mi.... about 25 min. in the morning and 45-60 min. in the afternoon. So, I get work at 8:30 and end up staying until 7 to let traffic die down. ugh

0 - I am a big fan of two bases. There is no harm in having two, aside from taking away from the sacred history of the game. If we are going to have 8 DH's on each team every week, then we can certainly add a second base 1 - When I reffed in week 1 no one came close to man bunting. I think now that we have the rule in place the men are swinging freely, even if they muff a few attempts 10 - I'm sorry you all have such rough commutes - mine is 15 feet from my bed to my desk ;D 11 - I just heard that we lost to flame on! last week. I'm sorry I couldn't have been there for my team to prevent such a travesty 100 - Anyone besides Justin appreciating the binary bullets?
