If you have something you would like to contribute to the Star Report, our weekly newsletter, that's great!
Could you imagine having to pull together a multi-page newsletter on top of your regular job every week? I didn't think so...
Please send story ideas (or full stories of you have the time to write them out), game summaries, etc... to Star Report Editor Letty Brown at dcstarnews@gmail.com.
All ideas are welcome!

I'll have an article for the newsletter before our next happy hour. And if we do that idea for the end-of-season party, I'll be happy to write up one for that, too. And if I have time, maybe the mid-season party, as well. We'll have to see how busy I am!

Star Report was much more enjoyable to read this week. Thanks to those who are contributing, and flip cup standings are great, although we're tied for last! ; )

Anwilli: Thanks. Scotty and I worked hard to work out a system that hopefully works for everyone. As we work out the kinks, we'll see how things mesh and I'm sure Scotty and I will start being a bit more fun in our write up...
And I thought it was great this week, too. Letty: Keep up the snarky comments and captions. They are AWESOME! And again, once our next happy hour gets closer we'll write an article for you... and I'll try to put something together on the MS Party, too. I'll talk to our social chairs and work on it.
Oracle: You're so fifteen minutes ago. Will you please take your seat next to Paris Hilton? Thank you for playing. NEXT!!!

Yay, Flame On! happy hour! Thought the last one was fun at Remington's.... next one needs to be on line dancing night!
Rodeo: You can always ask for a write-up/comments with flip cup scores as well to incorporate into you and scottyg's observations.....

Anwilli: On the happy hour... I'm looking at line dance lesson night on Sept 21. They are teaching one of the most important and everlasting line dances in Country/Western history: The Tush Push!! ERRYONE needs to know how to push their tush on the dance floor. So, as soon as I confirm this with the team, I'll let you know. Problem is one of the kickball widows has a birthday that night... so, I'll get back to you.
On the flipcup thoughts... we considered doing something like recaps, but it's hard enough for Letty to get get recaps on games each week, I can't imagine what it would be like to get Flipcup recaps from everyone. But if anyone wants to VOLUNTARILY submit thoughts, well, who am I to refuse them??

Sept 21st also happens to be free chips and queso at your local California Tortilla.. All you have to do is make a sound from the jungle.
Letty good job on the newsletter..

I think at least a few of the captains included the flipcup scores in their game recaps.

I think i'm the only person that isn't a fan of cal tor. I much prefer chipotle, mostly because of their soft tacos.

Chipotle sucks, man. Do you not get the irreverent business style and awesome food giveaways of Cal Tort? What are you a communist or something??
Latin: Which one do you work near?
