Chipotle is horrible.. anything under the mcdonalds umbrella can't be good. Plus it gives me the worst stomach aches. It is understandable for Taylor to like it becuase him and pudge go to mcdonalds every damn day.
As for me, I support mom and pop shops from the ground up.. plus I love the free cookies and freeze pops.
I frequent the courthouse one on the weekends but usually go to the fairfax one for lunch time at work.
I have eaten at the one across from the MCI center and the on up near the Uptown theatre..
I enjoy Cal Tort, in fact it has become my "fast food" place of choice.. Quizno's is a fast fading second.

The guacamole at Chipotle is habit-forming.

Chipotle may be under the McDonald's umbrealla, but the corporate giant basically just profides funds. They don't interfere with the way Chipotle does business. The only way I every get a stomach ache at potes is when I inhale my delicious burrito too quickly.

but I still wish DC had a Steak ~n~ Shake in the city =( Those lonely drunken walks home would be so much nicer if I knew I could have me a Chicken Melt waiting for me with some black beans and a Milkshake

Baja Fresh makes me ill. Chipotle is the way to go.... who'da thunk Mickey D's could pull that off? Yummy!
Rodeo - I'm so there for the Tush Push! I used to know the dance, but could always use a refresher! ; )

La Tasca in Penn Quarter is also a good tapas place. Food is not quite as good as Alero, but definitely up there. But they do have the most amazing choices in Sangria... try the Agua de Valencia when you go. It's a white sparkling wine, orange and pineapple juice, some tripple sec, and a shot of brandy. VERY yummy...

Baja Fresh makes me ill for some reason. Chipotle is by far the best... who'da thunk Mickey D's could come up with something so yummy?
Rodeo - gotta love the tush push! I could always use a re-fresher. ; )

Shock and Awe Smaha will break it down for all y'all burrito lovers out there.
Baja Fresh does not beat Cal Tort or Chipolte. I used to eat Cal Tort a lot back in the 02. I loved it and hated on Chipolte. Then, I stopped working in Bethesda and we didn't have a Cal Tort in Arlington. Finally, in 2004, during the summer of Kerry/Edwards, one opened up at Courthouse. I was excited!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, Cal Tort had come to VA!!!!!!!!! So, I ate one after passing out Kerry/Moran lit at the Courthouse Farmers Market. I got sick and threw up! Aww....I know. So sad.
So, then I started going to Chipolte (the one in Ballston) and I love it!!!!!!!!! So good!!!!!!!
