I was not making decisions based on cuteness or team colors, but rather on actual knowledge! And no, contrary to what those guys thought, my boyfriend didn't help me with it. Stupid boys. I thought guys liked girls who knew about football?!?!?! Uhh hence your boyfriend..? Well if you know the stuff, then screw them for not knowing their place, which obviously wasn't first... ;D

Ooo, I like doing that for March Madness. I am always "that girl" who chooses teams based on colors and mascots who always does really well. Well, except for Illinois - I am actually really good with Illinois basketball.
But back to football - who wouldn't love the Pats when there's Tom Brady!

They do, you should know about sports, like watching sports, like going to games, you just shouldnt beat us at any sports or sports related activities. Some of us cant deal with that and after contemplating suicide, will usually decide that barring you from the pools and forgetting that it ever happened is a better alternative than death....barely.
I'm not a stats person and dont take the pools seriously, but inevitably there is that girl in the group for a football or NCAA basketball pool that has the guys all sweating it out because shes in the lead based on "cute colors" or thinking that a Saluki is a cute dog...I think its pretty damn funny.

But at least we know what to get you for the holidays Leslie: A lifesize Tom Brady cardboard cut-out. Would you like just one or one for every wall (and ceiling)? ;D On second thought, you might have to fight Smahaz for those...

In response to you, Steve, maybe the fact that I knew about sports is the reason me and him broke up? AHHHH!!! I never thought of that til now!! Scotty: so I can like sports, go to games, but not be better at sports or know more about football? SO i am guessing the facct that I can throw a pretty sweet spiral is a deal breaker, huh. Dammit.

haha the spiral would be a plus in my book...unless we're on opposite flag football teams and you're raining touchdowns from above....that might fall under deal breaker. Maybe give up an interception for every 3 or so TD's you throw, you know for prides sake.
My football days are sadly over anyways...

point taken, so you either have to date a professional/college athlete, or find a guy that doesnt mind losing from time to time.

Fantasy sports are more an exercise in statistics than knowing everything about the sport, although some knowledge helps (injuries, stadiums, effects of trades, etc). I played fantasy baseball this season (my first fantasy sport ever outside of ncaa tournaments and survivor football) and i'm currently in the semi's of the playoffs. Come draft time, i recognized maybe 3 players that i picked, but that's because i was looking at numbers, not names. Then again... math is traditionally male as well.
