Scotty:
The angle of ascension may be different, but the intent and outcome is still pretty much the same. LOL

I am in no way flattering myself...if it were a Flame On/Jesse situation I might....but when you've got people scouring the net for ken doll pics and threatening voodoo dolls...well not so much. Oh please Scooter...don't let it go to your head! That took me all of 2 minutes to do. If that constitutes massive effort in your book, all I can say is, have you seen "American Pie"? ;D P.S. - And for the love of God, do not tell me you have reserves!!

As much as I'd love to say Yay for happy hour at Front Page, I now know why I avoid straight bars =) Esp in the Gay Mecca.. Mean Breeders!
Patty and I showed up, we did a complete two rounds about 6.20ish and not finding anyone and having some #$^% woman blow her f*g smoke right in my face, we went outside, called our Love tied team keg, VM.. waited.. then said.. blah. We’re outta here =[ Hit the metro, got the VM to late... as patty was already on the train and I just wasn’t in the mood to deal with that bar again we didn’t show up and represent! But I heard one of our flamers did make it. Flame on!
You know what they say about me.. I have the attention span of a .. well of a sh3lby.. ooooh! shiny object!! If I can’t find what I’m looking for.. I look elsewhere…
Sorry Pink and Orange.. Hope y’all had fun tonight =] I know I did!
See ya peeps on Sunday!

Message received on my voicemail last night: "Leslie darling, it's Justin (as I think to myself - who is Justin? ). Umm, we're here and you're not. Where are you. We're walking around and can't find anyone. And we're gay men and don't like going to straight bars. So we're going to leave. Call me." I'm calling you guys out on that one - how did you not see ANY of us last night??? To everyone else - did we miss anything after we left? The OC was FABULOUS as usual ;D

We didnt stick around too much after that, some Deflated Balls hopped over to another bar, but otherwise we drank a little more and rolled out.
So my question. Did anyone avoid the HH or leave early to make sure that they got back in time for the OC? Do we need to worry about the fall TV lineup when planning these things? It seems that the OC has quite a following.

Hmm, sounds to me a little like people not even registering for kickball in the fall, or skipping games and Irish Times for football...
We're having HH next Thursday so I guess it depends on how much fun we're having and if it's worth it to have to watch a (gasp!) Tivoed OC.

Where Leslie?
Football is on a higher level than the OC, you cant compare.

Actually I gotta agree with Sh3lby - you all were initially pretty hard to spot, sitting low at the table. Plus its not like many (any?) of us know Sensations well enough outside of their pink shirts to spot them at a distance.
I recommend a giant fluorescent sign saying "WAKA" on it for proper designation....

But Steve found us! I agree though, I don't usually like sitting at longish tables at HHs. Love ya anyhow Shelby - as long as you come to ours Team Keg's HH is going to be somewhere in Arlington, most likely Whitlow's - we'll figure it out by Sunday. Ugh, professional football. My coworkers are in here now discussing the best strategies for their fantasy teams. I just don't get it.

I had a little trouble finding everyone at first as well. Lukily Kim was there towering over everyone (mostly because they were sitting down)....otherwise I was about to text to figure out where everyone went.
I cant get into the fantasy teams..thats just one step too far.

Fantasy teams are like icing on the cake...just gives you added incentive to know all the statistical details about your teams, the players, etc. Not to mention the extra beer money from winning the pool....

I want to play fantasy! I won my league last year and all the guys were mad that they lost to a girl and they wont let me play this year.

Hmmm...I have mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, those guys need to suck it up and get better. I mean, if you knew what you were doing and managed to win, well more power to you.
On the other hand, if you were making fantasy team decisions based on such scientific methods as "I like their helmets, they go well with their uniforms" or "But he is cute so he has got to win" (two styles I have personally seen used in the past), well then out you go...

I was not making decisions based on cuteness or team colors, but rather on actual knowledge! And no, contrary to what those guys thought, my boyfriend didn't help me with it. Stupid boys. I thought guys liked girls who knew about football?!?!?!
