7. REGULATION GAMES
7.01 Regulation games last five (5) full innings.
a. In the event of a tie score at the end of the game, the game shall be marked as a tie.
b. At the discretion of the division board, a single time limit may be set for all of the division's regular season games. Such a time limit may not be shorter than 45 minutes. A game that finishes before a time limit remains a regulation game (see Rule 7.02 and 7.03).
7.02 A game that is called off by the Referee (see Rule 3.04) after three (3) full innings of play shall be considered a regulation game. The game score at the end of the last full inning shall determine the winner. Regulation games called off that end in a tie shall be marked as a tie.
Assuming that the DC Star Division Board follows the 45 minute rule, the dballs / 12 step should have ended after 3 innings around 4:45. Andrea (DC Star president) and Troy (head ref) both were responsible for remembering/enforcing this rule, and because they did not, TK (and to a lesser degree, Your Mom) got screwed. For the remaining season, we don't have any overlapping games with Your Mom and thus will have to play our game at either 3:15 or 5:30, and find refs for said game, which is adds to the madness.
At this point I don't think there is anything else we can do except make sure to enforce the 45 minute rule on future games to prevent this from happening again, and bitch. I know everyone wants to listen to TK bitch.
