I'll add my congrats to the Flamers - you guys really looked awesome yesterday!
As for the people questioning how teams can change so much from year to year - well, it seems to me like almost all of the "veteran" teams have been completely revamped, so I guess it's not fair to make predictions based on previous seasons.
And smooches Justin - but that crazy woman standing practically ON me during that last flip cup game threw the game for me!

Flame On has experience, they took advantage of a some Wacko mistakes (as well you should), we'll bring the rookies around but you need a few good dropped ball/overthrows to learn what do do and what not too. I must say that I'm rather impressed at how equal the teams are in terms of their play, I think that all the games have been really close calls. Believe me, I didn't think we'd win against you. I was expecting a loss and hoping for a tie. We've had so many teams take advantage of OUR errors for the past year, that it's nice to finally know how to use our opponents errors to ours. I'd say over all this season's teams seem to be much more even than in the past. It's nice to not be the rookie team making the same rookie mistakes.

You can say that again. I went a stunning 1-5-1 in my predictions this week. This is still one game better than boy Taylor, though. Suddenly, our upcoming doubleheader vs Take Out and the Flamers looks much less promising than it did in the preseason...

I take some consolation in my prediction of a DBalls tie...though at the time I was sort of joking.

I kept saying it last night and it has been said on here already but I am really happy with how evenly matched league is as compared to the past two seasons. Any given sunday any team can win. There is no one team that has any game locked up as a win. Gongrats to Take it Outside and 12 step on their winning ways. I would love to talk and say that Flame On will go undefeated but that's just not logical. I look forward to some really good games coming up but for now I am just happy to be winning as anybody would.

I was truly amazed to hear how well Flame On did this week! I mean, beating our team didn't seem so hard (in the past at least), now they're beating everyone! Way to go! Now that we've got our first legitimate win since Spring 2005 season, I'm so excited to how well we do this season! If the Flamers can win, so can the Outsiders.
