Fields... you know you love them... and hate them

It's what.. 4.20 AM !!! yes Shelby is WIDE AWAKE ... SHHH =)

Anyway I told Erin (the fabulous woman I think is our president, no… I know she is our president because she takes the ‘shite’ field and still loves kickball!) I'm investing in a 100' tape measure to prevent what happened today on a field... Uncertain fields.. I honestly think the field / we played and I ref’d was just plain screwed up.. but we all played on it, not really knowing but knowing it was odd..

I, not being a OCD PERFECTIONIST.... well.. =) if you know me you know I'm VERY OCD ... I want everyone to be happy with the fields.. So I'm gonna buy and donate (what is it... 10 or 20 dolla?) a 100' tape to the DC Star Bag to prevent any confusion in the future.

Shelby likes Kickball. and Shelby likes everyone to have a good time, but Shelby doesn’t like people hating the fields... (yes that was third person!) hating team plays and hating ref calls // well, that’s a different thing, but hating the field is just rude! Don’t hate the field! It’s just dirt and grass! What did he ever do to you! (other than make you wet)

So I’m personally going prevent to prevent any confusion in the future!

Blue, the bigger question is what was Shelby doing at your place until 4 am?

And there is no such thing as too much flipcup......just people get harder to control and easily distracted when the games go on forever. I believe there is a correlation between that phenomenon and the amount of spirits imbibed. I think more research into the theory is needed.

Well Phoenix, since you ask, Sh3lby was busy waking me out of a peaceful slumber and regailing me with tales of her adventures in Sh3lbyland. It was a fantastic treat to have her grace my humble abode with her presence. Unfortunately, no bedazzling was done.

Wow, that just made a comparison in my mind. I am regretting that it did. I saw The Brothers Grimm this weekend. The younger brother was always into the fairytales, etc. (not wanting to ruin the movie for anyone). So I just made that connection with Shelby's tales, which is bad because that Grimm brother was Heath Ledger...and he is hot. (well Matt Damon is/would be too if he stopped smoking).

And on a side note, Sh3lbs was there till like 1 - 130 am and then I did my 2 hr walk home =) yes.. I walked from NE to NW AGAIN =) I love that walk
