This kickballer is taking the night off! Too much drunken debauchery this past week.
But I must say, I bottle three batches of wine this past week and one more to bottle tonight, so I will have about 140 bottles of various vintages that are ready for a sampling! My seven shelf wine rack is almost FULL!
Tomorrow night, I think I'll definitely need to get out again. I'll probably start having withdrawals and shakes tomorrow knowing there's no kickball on Sunday...

I am kicking myself, I found some cases of Sam's octoberfest at costco.. but I didn't put any in the fridge before i left for work.. which means as soon as I walk in the door I don't have a cold beer..

Well thats what I will end up doing, I have this flash freeze option on the freezer downstairs.. i think that will cut the time down even more.

They have those flash freezers in the wine section of some grocery stores, too. It would be pretty sweet to sneak in your own beer to cool in it.

Shouldn't you be on a beach somewhere by now?

I'm sure there will be some amount of drunkeness in my evening, although not at my usual place, as that has been reduced to a pile of cinders. The bars I like in DC always seem to burn down (King Pin, Spy Lounge, Cap Lounge).

I heard it burned down...but how? What started the fire? Were there some idiot New Orleans thug-people vacationing up here?

The real question now is, after 2 Happy Hours in a row, will folks still have the stamina to make it out tonight...?
