Survivor Flipcup on Wed night = a very rough Thursday.
Fun game though, we should play on Sunday.

What were you doing playing it on Weds night? Is that when the division plays that you're cheating on us with?
And we played a round of it at Jesse's party a few weeks back. It was a blast. I was one of the last three standing! I was so glad I didn't have to drive home that night!

Yes Wed night is the mistress/DC Royal night.
We played guys V girls, took the first 2 games, lost the third...7 cups in a row is a lot of flipping.

How exactly is this game played?

regular flipcup rules, but at the end of the round the losing team has to vote off a player (usually the worst one). The remaining players then match up with one of the players taking over the cup from the player that was voted off.
Its a lot of fun, but because all the cups stay on the table, you end up drinking a lot in the later rounds.

Survivor flip cup is so last season, but a ton of fun... not for the weak egos, though. Oh flipcup gurus, scottyg and patrick, if we do survivor, I'd ask that you'd limit it to a max number of people, say, 8, so there is less confusion on cups. We tried playing with the Steamers last season, and with so many people, there was a bunch of confusion considering we were bending rules as we went!

I'm not as worried about the confusion as being that poor person that ends up as the last man standing with an entire side of the table to flip down. That happened to one of the girls last night and it was her v 3 people (started with 7) so she ended up flipping 21 times in the next 3 games and actually won it, but the beer in those cups adds up faster than you'd think.
I'm with you on the limit either way.

Anwilli:
We wouldn't do it as a standing match, just for fun.

I'm sure we can break out an 8 Vs. 8 game after a little later on in the night on Sunday.

THE GODS ARE DEAD! <shows anwilli his FLIPCUP AUTHORITY badge again> Oh, no doubt that survivor would be for fun... or just bragging rights. I'm just worried about being that poor girl flipping 10-15 cups PER MATCH. Doesn't work well for stumbling into the next day....

Oh I disagree, I think it would go a long way towards helping with the stumbling part, maybe not so much though with the "making it in" part....
