Hold Crap d! That is a bold pick. I know a lot of people picking Cincy as their survivor pick. High scoring affair? I am staying away from that ATS pick. Too many points.

Mike Wise wrote a decent article for once in the post today and made me realize something. We hired Chris Cosh (D-coord) and I'm wondering why the hell we did. He never coached a good defense. Just made me realize it was not like KSU ever had a good D, or the school before that (think it was Michigan St.). ugh. The only thing that could redeem this season is going 7-5 or 8-4 with upsets over Clemson and either FSU or Miami
"Friedgen's pick to replace the retiring Gary Blackney, a defensive coordinator who got his players to figure out West Virginia's gimmicky offense, was Chris Cosh. Whatever Cosh's reputation or pedigree at Kansas State, this defense doesn't hit first, tackle or pursue very well. The defensive players don't initiate or act. They react. And against an option attack such as West Virginia's, which looked as deceptive as those old Delaware wing-T offenses, the Terps were shook like a flat-footed kid trying to defend against a Allen Iverson crossover. None of these kids would make it on the And 1 bus."

Results from this week: 5-1 in college picks. WINNERS - WVU, VT, Eastern Michigan, TX, Auburn LOSER - ND 1-2 in pro picks. WINNER - G-Men LOSERS - Redskins, Lions Skins blow chunks. Time to get rid of Brunell.
Overall 11-6 (8-2 College) (3-4 Pros)
Maybe a monday night pick, if I haven't jumped off the Wilson Bridge yet.

Maybe a monday night pick, if I haven't jumped off the Wilson Bridge yet. Don't jump!!! Who are the G-Men and who's playing tonight? I have a proposition for you Marvie. For shites and giggles, how about for two or three weeks, you and I (a total unfan) pick games and see if I, as a total american football loser, can do as well?

yeah...I think it became apparent yesterday that Brunell doesn't have the arm anymore. It showed on that deep pass to cooley, and if he can't go deep, moss is totally under-utilized.
G-men are the NY Giants, Steelers and Jacksonville are playing tonight.

Especially late in the game when Moss was wide open down the right sideline and Brunell pulled back his throw and then proceeded to get sacked.
There is still alot of season to go and time for things to click. Everbody knows that it's not if you win in September but if you win in November and December.

Yeah Brunell was showing off his lack of arm strength last night (the ball he threw for the interception was likewise underthrown as it was behind the receiver..you want to put less air under it and zip it in to lead your receiver). I think its only a matter of time before Brunell has to have a seat on the bench.

I thought it was a great call when they started Brunell over Ramsey last season (I'd been calling for it since the pre-season), but I was also under the impression that he was just a stop-gap for the season while the skins worked out a younger QB to step up.
last season Brunell looked good because he didnt make mistakes, this season he just doesnt seem to be making decisions.

Don't decisions require the ability to make them. apparently he has been sacked one too many times and it knocked that ability right out of his head.

I think if this keeps up then Campbell will the starter by their break in week 8. I just think he is afraid to make a mistake and therefore doesn't make any decision. We need a little more Brett Favre in our QB. Not to his extent but a little more willing to just gun it sometimes. To bad that will never happen.
