Ok, have one pick so far. I will have more during the week.
Virginia Tech @ LSU (-12) Where as I am going to root for LSU, the 12 point spread is telling me that VT is going to falter towards the end of the game.
Week 1 for VT was an emotional game to say the least. One game removed, VT will be ready. Will Sean Glennon? This QB scares me. He didn't look sharp. If anyone say the LSU/Miss St. game, MSU's QB threw bad pass after bad pass. He threw enough pickles to fill a jar of them. Glennon and the running game must be on par to keep things close as the defense is that good to keep them in the game.
LSU's QB is nothing to talk about either. He did straighten out enough in the second half to look respectable. VT's defense will be ready for him. So will LSU's defense be ready for VT.
This will be a blowout or a close game. To be decided in the 4th quarter. I believe the Fighting Gobblers will be up for this.
I am hoping to cover as well. After seeing Sean Glennon in the stands on Saturday, I, too, am nervous... Give it to Ore and let him get to work. No more cross-field throws for Glennon... it takes too long to develop.
Rooting for LSU is fine, whatever.... though, I, for one, like the underdog status. It bodes well for us.... don't get a big head, Tiger fans.... we may just show up to play!
When you say ANWILLI, you've said it all. On the Eighth Day, God created ANWILLI.
Wanted to get this game in. Everyone in the world has the Colts laying the wood in this one. I tend to agree, but I am of the position that when everyone is riding the Colts, I have to play the underdog.
Both offenses are going to be on fire tonight. I look at the defenses for both teams and find the Colts lost a a few players from the Super Bowl run they made last year. Last year they were one of the worst in rush defense. Not to say the Saints will be any better being on the road. Close game with a lot of points. The Saints will keep up until the end.
