Is now clearly Performance Anxiety. Surrendering 5 runs to a very, very hung over Flame On! team? It may as well count as a loss.

You only scored maybe 2 or 3 against flame on. Definitely was a shake down in DC Star this week. I'm still proud we held Below Us to 2 runs. They scored more against Sack Lunch.

Thanks for the defense there, Wasian! Much appreciated. Just wait... we're stokin' (not stroking) the flames now... we'll be burning up DC Star soon! =)

I think we can safely say that we don't score much on team keg. We are mostly a defensive team and one bad mistake in the field costs us the game. We really shine in flip cup and a rematch is in the works with shortbus.

While we really wanted 1829 on our schedule because of past rivalries, having Flame On! as our last game may not be as easy as we thought if they start picking it up.
There are 3 teams shining in flipcup, Team Keg has a moderate glow.

What we may lack in offensive firepower we make up for in our lockdown defense. With a shutout against Short Bus this week, we are really coming together on the field. As long as we have have the regulars present, I'd be surprised if we let up more than a run per game the rest of the season.

We are officially terrible offensively at this point. It's easy to record a shutout when a team can't kick the ball past the pitcher... even when they're not bunting.

you guys were awesome on defense. holding us to only one run is very good. we usually score at least 2 or 3.

We don't waste time scoring and allowing runs on the kickball field so we can get to the bar sooner After all that is where we really display our talent.

d, I think I have to agree with your Spring 06 prediction. Team Keg has done nothing but improve this season and is probably the hottest team in the league. We have let up less runs than any team in our past two games and are on a three game winning streak!
