Below Us, 12 Step, Team Keg and Shock & Awe.
Any surprises here?
I am biased of course, but I'm definitely not surprised 12 Step is undefeated, as well as Below Us.
The Keggers I gave a 50-50 chance.
But I am definitely surprised at S&A, even though they did go on a 6-7 game tear at the end of the last season. I mean...look at them....Faberman, Collins, Omid, Yeck, Lussen?? There's only one word to describe them: poop.

And yes, I'm sure the rain delay last weekend probably helped out these undefeated teams...

Not to mention playing back-to-back double headers in 80 degree heat after the charity party didn't help matters much...

Hush up you.
I have only ALLOWED my opponents to get their runs. They have not earned them yet. In both games yesterday, they got runs b/c I was tired of pitching my normal way and let the girls have a chance to actually kick the ball. Hahaha...it was funny b/c the girls were b.itching and yelling at me on the fields about it and then at the bar, they were cool about it. One girl was bruised though, both her ego and shins.
Good times :-)

My pitching dominance has been much improved compared to previous seasons, according to myself and teammates.
However, like last spring season, my kicking skills have gone down the crapper. I don't know what is going on there. I have only managed sac flys for RBI's and 1 base kick :-( And my mistress kicking isn't any better either!!

Since I have not heard many rumors about the Flamers and their new team, I'm looking past them for now, to two weeks from now when we play Below Us.
Tough Guy Saturday better prepare for a Tough Game Sunday.
Man...I'm terrible today. I need some better sleep.

Anyone know the results from all the games this week? I need to update those craptastic power rankings. Troy -- be warned, that Army of Skanks teams is VERY good. I'm curious to see how they match up against you guys. Other than that, there's a good chance they'll win out the rest of the regular season. I'm not really surprised by S&A anymore. They have been a solid team for the last few seasons. They usually only get tripped up by silly mistakes early on... and it looks like they got past that as well this season. Team Keg was a big surprise initially, although now that I've seen who all is playing for them again... they are definitely a quality squad. 12 Step is also a bit of a surprise highlight, but their schedule has been generally kind thus far (Wackos win is a highlight). Edit: Also, you replied to yourself twice

Wackos 24 person roster is not a highlight thus far....
We played Skanks tough for 3.5 innings, then they rallied behind a dog on the field call (our fault) and a bunch of dropped balls (usual lately for us) to take a 6-1 lead. They are smart base runners, definately capitalize on mistakes well. After the ealier posts I can say that their pitching isnt anything to be too concerned over.
Troy replies to himself a lot.

yeah Bag 'Em has been rocking a 17+ person roster leading to most people only kicking once per game

Is that the same "cute dog" that distracted us? The one with high heels and a sports bra?

2/3 games we havent gotten through the roster.
No that one was noted, and the dog did go on the field (I hear for some reason I wasnt watching the dog), but the one I'm talking about was one of our players dogs, led to a half the team trying to stop play, half still playing, argument over redoing the play....The Army took it up as their cause and we were done.

Flame ON!! had a great start, but had a set back this weekend when most of the team had to attend breeder weddings or hot shipped out of town for work. It really sucks. A 26-Flamer roster still isn't helping with keeping our numbers up some weeks.

Um, for the first time EVER, my team almost forfeited b/c we didn't have enough girls to start... then, of course, three more show up during the first inning. We played, but it was surreal to know that our guys might actually show up!
