3. I'm not writing an ode to the Wackos flipcup team, yeah we're pretty good, but I'm not going to bring it up all the time, I'll leave that to you Marvin. Man unless your rookies get better or some of your A-teamers actually start showing up at the bar, I'd hold off on the parade for how great you're team is.... I thought you were not hyping this particular vitory Steve! Liar!

I'll bet you a beer you give up more than 4 kicks and another beer that you don't get at least 2 foul outs and another beer that 12 step loses and a final beer that team keg wins. Betting Update: D won most of these. More than 4 kicks. Winner - D Only 1 Foul Out. Winner - D 12 Step Wins. Winner - Youngone Team Keg Wins. Winner - D RATS!!! Also, much respect goes out to all the underdogs this season....Outsiders (almost had 2 wins this weekend), Flamers and 12 Steppers. We've all improved alot!!! Let's keep up the good work.

All rookie outfield got burned on a few deep kicks in both games that scored most of the runs on us, luckily we answered back with one in the first game.
Our game against the Keggers was close, we had bases loaded with two out in the 5th and just couldnt pull out the W.

overall if my gorilla math is correct 3 runs * 5innings/game / 9 innings pitched this season
actually 1.66666667 but I figured rounding down would be frowned upon.

No one should be fouling out buddy....I expected that from someone else, but not you. Tsk tsk. I guess my new ERA is..... 6*5/15 = 2.0 However....I have also scored 1/2 and RKI'd all 7 of our runs scored...that should count for something!!! And for this reason, I believe I am the most valued pitcher in the league!!! This line is soley geared for ONE person....Iknow you're out there reading this. You know who you are!!! No offense is meant for anyone else And again, there are no RECORDED errors in kickball since there are so many, so I am still counting yesterday's homerun a homerun for myself.

Oh please. Your "homerun" was an error. Just because we don't record errors doesn't mean it wasn't an error. If she hadn't tried to kick the ball which fell right in front of her for some inexplicable reason, she would have at least stopped the ball in front of her, limiting you to a single or at most a double. Your second "RKI" was also an error, it bounced right off a guy's chest.
I will gladly take those errors though into my ERA. Since we don't record the errors, they will go in my ERA now making it a 1.0 ERA. However, you can't call that a home run just because we don't record the fact that it was an error.

Funny thing is we won that game giving up 4 runs (5-4) over TIO.

We COULD have held off Wackos had we not had a mini-melt down and let Nicole and Haley (sp?) on base. Scoots was able to kick them home.

I'm with you Troy, in the last 4 games we've scored 9 runs. I've scored 3 of those and RKI'd another 2...we need some offense, badly.
2 (or 3) of the runs in the Keggers game came off of an error in the outfield...then again if errors were factored in Marvin would be way wayyyyyy down on his ERA.

My ERA is 2.0 and dropping... How is your ERA dropping? We put up 6 on you yesterday...including a A-Rod style meaningless last-inning grand slam! That being said my ERA is a 7.50 over 10 innngs. There's a reason I'm our 3rd string pitcher.

But, I have pitched twice as many innings, but you're right, I was looking at the ERA when we were using the nine inning game (as per Taylor) as my starting point. That was wrong. That said, it did go up . (1.333333333 to 2.25) So, it wasn't my best game for ERA...
