There have been a few questions arising from Flipcup matches recently. Here is just a rules reminder: 1. Each team will play one or two match-ups that will count toward standings. If you played a doubleheader, you need to flip against both teams. 2. Teams that played on the kickball field will play each other at the Times following their kickball games. 3. All teams must have at least five (5) players. Due to the limitations of space and time, we recommend that you limit your team to ten (10) playersat most. 4. No one may flip more than one cup/position per game. (In other words, no double flipping.) 5. The first team to win five (5) rounds wins the match. 6. Water drinkers are acceptable, all other rules apply. 7. At the end of a round, a tie may result from the cups landing at the same time; if this happens a two cup flipoff will result between the two tying players. 8. Each team is allowed one (1) reschedule of a game for the season* 9. Any team that does not make arrangements to play their match by 6:30PM will forfeit the match. If results are not mailed to the Flipcup Authorities ( flipcup.authority@gmail.com) or posted on the DC Star Discussion Board ( dcstar.proboards55.com/) by 7PM Tuesday, the match will be considered a forfeit for both teams. * Reschedule can only be done with the consent of the opposing team and must be played either the week before, or the week after the original game was scheduled.

Pease remember that you need to play your Week 8 flipcup matchups by Week 7. The FCA will hold the first official DC Star FlipCup Playoffs the last week of regular conference games (10/01). Since we won't actually have time to wrap up all the regularly scheduled matches before that day, the FCA is asking that you schedule your last week's game during either Week 6 (this week; 9/17) or Week 7 (next week; 9/24). Please be flexible when rescheduling as we still have double headers going on in weeks 7 and 8, so some teams may end up playing three official matches this week and next. Please email your scores to the FCA ( flipcup.authority@gmail.com) as usual letting us know you're pre-playing for a certain week.
