Dear FCA,
What would an official 1 vs. 1 flip cup match involve?
Five cup race first to three? I have always played three cup race to five. Would a four cup race to four be a suggestion? FCA, please discuss. Go!

Good points made, marvie... i think people have just done whatever for a 1:1 match-up... I assimilate to whatever my opponents want to do.... The intern shall facilitate this with the FCA boys.

FCA, please discuss. Go! Dear Dastardly Daggar. 1-on-1 flipcup is generally just a race of a line of cups. No "best of" anything. Just the first one to finish however many cups they players decide. Since they're not officially sanctioned nor used for statistics, it's all up to player discretion. FCA

I'd have to agree with Patrick, no set terms though it seems that a general 3 cups seems to be the standard, I've played first to 5 when playing Marvin, best of 3 against Andrea, as long as you agree on it no worries.

Personally I like 5 or 6 cup matches and first to 3 wins. That puts some good pressure on one flipping the whole time. In my opinion it's too easy for any chump to flip 3 cups in a row.

Are you trying to call me out, matt allen? Just b/c scoots and I have done 1:1 with three cups doesn't mean I can't kick your butt with 5. It's on!

He makes a good point, the more cups in a row you have to flip, the less lucky you get.
Thats why I like survivor so much more than king of the hill (where everyone flips and last person to flip is off)

FCA, merci beaucoup for the clarification. So no rule. If it is 5 cups to three or three to five, a close game has the same amount of beer consummed anyways.
I will be accepting challenges this week.
