If you're hungry from increased activity it probably means you're boosting your metabolism, which is good. Therefore, it's okay to eat more. Aim for several small meals throughout the day that include ample protein and water-dense foods like veggies. And make sure you're getting enough whole grains.
Okay, my turn to complain. I hate it when it takes longer at Starbucks to order a house coffee than it does to get an espresso drink.

Em I think that if she plays gospel music then you should play something like Black Sabbath or Marilyn Manson. OOOOOh, or AC/DC or OZZY!!! YEAH!!! <bangs head on desk>

I thought "Ozzy" would be implied by "Black Sabbath" but whatever

I hate it when I can barely get off the train because people on the platform are standing in front of the door. I don't care how long you were waiting or how many other people are waiting to get seats. If you are blocking the door, don't complain when I barrel into you!

And it's even worse when you're getting off at Metro Center or Gallery Place. People leave barely enough room for one person to get through. And then there are those idiots that stand INSIDE the doors and don't move when the doors open. I just push them out the door like I push firstbasepeople out of my way!!

A regular coffee at Starbucks should take less than a minute to make, seeing as how it involves putting already brewed coffee into a cup. Espresso takes a few minutes because they brew the shots to order. Yes, being a privleged white girl who can afford to foster a premium coffee addiction is a terrible plight indeed.

[Yes, being a privleged white girl who can afford to foster a premium coffee addiction is a terrible plight indeed. So THAT'S why there are no Starbucks in my hood. No privleged white sorority girls named buffy living near me! NOW it all makes sense. =) Actually, the hood DID get it's first starbucks. They put one in the Hood Safeway during the wonderful job they did remodeling the place. If you haven't been to one of the Safeways near me, you should stop in. They're really nice now. And my "Wife" is keeping the new one in business using my money to buy his daily carmel macchiatto orders!!

Actually, that probably is why, until now, there was no Starbucks. Poor economic indicators, blah blah. The installation of a Starbucks is a harbinger of gentrification. Shout-out to the future displaced former residents of the H Street cooridor!

Shout-out to the future displaced former residents of the H Street cooridor! In my defense on gentrification... I didn't displace anyone. Not only was my block pre-gentrified (80% of the residents are middle class), the woman I bought the house from was and older air force vet and needed to move because she couldn't walk up and down the stairs any longer. No one was forced out due to the gentrification wave... oh, and she bought a fabulous new condo in a new community in SE. =)

Patrick, I wasn't implicating you in the mess, I was speaking more in terms of what is to come. You bought the property when the neighborhood was more "transitional" than it was "gentrifying" (yes, there's a difference).
