This is one of those rare times where I regret both living and working in Alexandria. Your lunch sounds a lot more fun than what I have planned for Wednesday (liquid or not). I'm hoping on Wednesday, we'll close down at noon so that I can head home and start the marathon baking. Between now and Wednesday night, I still need to make 3 loafs of pumpkin bread and 2 apple pies. When I started the baking over the weekend, I was feeling very 'Nigella Bites / Domestic Goddess', but now I'm bored with it all.

yes congrats on the new job!!
there is somethign about precipitation and DC metro area drivers - they become stupid. okay well stupider than usual. they suck all the time, but during times of water in one of its many forms falling fromthe sky they turn completely retarded and I do NOT look forward to driving all the way to LAurel in it.
this is what I get, but at least I will be on stage again. and you all should come see me. Six Degrees of Separation - opens in JAnuary
(like that plug?)

I often find myself complaining about DC drivers in the rain. But then I complain about them even more in the snow. And then I realize I also complain if there is a bright sun. Which led me to the conclusion that there is no kind of weather that's good for DC driving. And that I'm a complainer.

Steve are you always the one who contradicts what everyone else says? just a question, cuz it seems like no matter what you will always say the opposite of the main side of a thread? that or you start things. I get it you are just an instigator. What? Me, instigator? Why I have no idea what you mean... ;D

I received the bird for my efforts from this soccer mom in a maroon caravan. I found out later that all the exits to the SE-SW freeway were shut off from some big police escort. No road rage here, but F that soccer mom bizzo!

Hey Patrick, you are a card carrying member of "those who can perform marriages etc" - you can perform the exorcism.

Besides if a Baptist or Hindu needs an exorcist, they wouldn't go to priest. A priest is a Catholic thing. Of course I think that demonic possession is not recognized in many religions - other than Catholicisim, Hoodoo/Voodoo, Patrickism, etc.
