Here's a sticky'd thread to keep track of all new member intro's, welcomes, and speculations! Please use it rather than create new ones. And welcome to the forums!

Hey all, I don't know what you veterans are experiencing, but I'm worried about Shock and Awe's rookie bar attendance. Disappointed that only two of the six women who played on Sunday came out to Kelly’s. I understand that it’s a Sunday and all and some folks don’t want to go grab a beer (or five or more) Sunday evening, but this is kickball. Being social and drinking beers after the game is the reason people play (or it should be). You folks have any advice on getting more teammates to come to the bar after the game?

I guess you could tell them I'll fondle them.. that always gets some people excited =p other than that, just flat out tell them the bar after is where most of the socializing gets done. It's where we meet each other and get to know the other teams. I, personally, would not know half the people I do now if it wasn't for Irish Times ::wipes tear:: I've got several amazing friends from it! I heart kickball, but the bar is where them most of the socializing for me happened/s!

Advertise the dancing, maybe. That's usually a good way to get girls to come to the bar. Or was the dancing just a first game anomaly? Anybody know?
