I was told that Flame On! forfeited to 12 Step in flipcup. The thing is, they had 8 people but none wanted to play when asked and they all left.
I think that in future flipcup rules, we need to incorporate some sort of rescheduling stipulation into the system. There should be a limit of how many reschedules a team can have.

We do have reschedules in the system. Read the rules. We already have other games we rescheduled and hit our limit. Flame ON's not much of a bar team, so just deal with the win, please.

I thought there already was a limit of 1, but it just wasn't strictly enforced. Kinda like the jaywalking of flipcup rules

I believe (and I'd have to double check the rules that we sent out) that teams are really allowed 1 reschedule/season. We've allowed some double reschedules due to extreme circumstances I believe.

Below Us over Your Mom 5-1. We were supposed to do our rescheduled match against Flame On, but they didn't want to play this week (like with 12 Step). I thought it was getting rescheduled again to next week, but now I don't know how the double-reschedule works.

Dballs over the Outsiders - 5-0.
Another note... I understand the whole "A" team thing, but really..... Dballs had like, 4 people standing around while we had to wait for an "A-teamer" from them..... it's called ROTATION. One game wouldn't have hurt them, esp. since they saw how many rookies we had on our side.... no need to be worried about a loss, IMO.
I'm serious about flipcup, too, but I don't shut people on my team out of our official match... we rotate.

I'm really not sure why they were waiting for me. I apologize for that. I thought they would have just started the game without me.
And we killed Below Us 5 - 0 or something like that. For all the crap they were talking about flip cup in the newsletter, they really kind of suck. Maybe their arms were cold down there with no sleeves on.

I would hope (hope) that most teams will match up as many players as want to play until we get to the 10 or so player limit. That being said those tables dont always lend themselves to games over 7 people due to space limits.
Put your best players on the table if you want, but also match up to the highest number you can (again barring table space and not getting insanely large).

Honestly, I didn't even realize that I was needed to sub in. I'm not sure what I was doing standing around the table! Plus, if you actually watched everyone Anwilli, you'd notice that it was hardly a full A-team "Everyone who has been sucking get off the tables NOW!!!" - Drunk Kimmie And last night was so much fun that that was only one of the best quotes of the night!

I thought it was getting rescheduled again to next week, but now I don't know how the double-reschedule works. My apologies for Flame ON's lame FlipCup attendance this season. It seems that there are too many breeders getting married, relatives coming into town unexpectedly, moving apartments, and nails broken for us to field teams... except for that double header day... we were just toast after two games and the charity party the night before. And pardon my previous b.itchy responses. I just checked my calendar and it seems its my time of the month!! (Actually, I just displaced my anger that only 11 flamers have been showing for games on Below Us and the board in general.) I'll just get a massage, have a stiff drink, and get laid tonight. I'll be better tomorrow.

Anyone notice that none of our teams ever seem to have the Full A-Team....

Maybe their arms were cold down there with no sleeves on. I wouldn't have bothered with an excuse, but since it's DB flip-cup mantra... (and the one they used when we beat them the first week)... We were generally killed by 1 person, and that person never normally plays. 3 of our people who do normally play didn't. And it was 5-2. Scotty's right -- when you lose, you lose. So congrats

And I just want to toss out there, because just like the 12 Step win over the Wacko's in kickball this season, it was another first!! I finally took down Scooter in 1v1 flipcup, after the numerous matches we've played in the past.
